M530 & M550 Barrier Arms
M30 & K12 | Drop Arm Barrier
The barrier arm is a multi-purpose entry drop-arm that controls traffic while providing an anti-ram obstacle to protect from potential vehicular threats. We offer two different crash rated barrier arm options - the M550 is K12/L3 rated and M530 is rated as M30/P1.
The M530 has two successfully tested designs. The 22-foot barrier design does not require excavation across the roadway, whereas the 12-foot barrier design uses a shallow excavation across the roadway for a monolithic installation. The M530 barrier arm is also available in engineered design lengths to fit specific site requirements.
Standard Features
- Barrier arm lengths are available in 10, 14, 16, 18 & 20 ft., but are not crash tested.

Crash Rated
This barrier has been crash tested and certified to ASTM F2656, Dept of State and/or other international standards.
Up to 22 Ft. Road Coverage
These barrier arms can span distances at 12 ft. and 22 ft. for anti-ram coverage of larger roadways.
Optional Traffic Light Available
Add an integrated traffic light with mounting post to the barrier arm for addition traffic control.
Shallow Mount Installation
